ποΈ Dashboard Overview β
The V-Train Dashboard is the main control center. It is like an airplane's cockpit where you find all the buttons and switches! This page explains what each part does.
π How to open the Dashboard?
Click the VT icon on your Chrome toolbar. If you have a passcode, you must enter it first.
1. Dashboard Layout β
From top to bottom, the dashboard has these main areas:
| Area | Function |
|---|---|
| π΄ Status Area | Switch between Monitoring / Monitoring Off |
| βοΈ Settings | Hover Panel, Monitor Panel, Progress Bar Color, Language |
| π Authorize | Authorize the current website |
| π Statistics | Number of recorded videos |
| ποΈ Quick Actions | Rules, Bookmark Vault, Backup, Unlock Pro |
| π Privacy | Passcode, Clear Data |
2. Status Area: Monitoring / Monitoring Off β
This is the most important switch. It controls if V-Train is "working".
Monitoring β
- Switch is ON β Green light, text says "Monitoring"
- V-Train is tracking the videos you watch.
- Progress bars appear under video thumbnails.
Monitoring Off β
- Switch is OFF β Gray light, text says "Monitoring Off"
- V-Train is sleeping. It will not record or show progress bars.
- It leaves no trace of what you watch.
π‘ When should I use Monitoring Off?
Use Monitoring Off when you watch videos you do not want to record. You can switch modes at any time.
β οΈ Monitoring Off is default for new users
When you first install V-Train, Monitoring Off is turned on by default. If you do not see progress bars, please make sure the switch is set to "Monitoring".
3. Settings Area β
π±οΈ Hover Panel (Show Interaction) β
This controls the "Floating Panel" on the video playback screen.
This small panel lets you:
- π Like / π Dislike β Rate the video quickly.

Free vs Pro Version
Free users can use all buttons on the Hover Panel. Free users can save up to 100 bookmarks. Upgrading to Pro gives you unlimited bookmarks.
π₯οΈ Monitor Panel β
This is a tool to help fix problems. If you turn it on, a small black window appears in the bottom left corner of your screen. It shows what V-Train is doing:
- Is it recording?
- What is the Video ID?
- What is the current progress (%)?
Normal users do not need to turn this on. It is useful if progress bars are not working properly.
π‘ When is it useful?
When you train a new website, the rules might not work. Turn on the monitor panel to see what ID the system finds. This helps you fix mistakes!
π¨ Progress Bar Color β
Do you want to change the default red progress bar? You can set exclusive colors for three different video rating states: "Normal", "Like (π)", and "Dislike (π€)"!
- Use the dropdown menu to select a state, and click the color square on the right to pick your favorite color.
- Progress bars on all trained websites will instantly change to the corresponding color based on your rating for that video.
- If you don't set specific colors for "Like" or "Dislike", the system will automatically use the "Normal" color.
- To switch back to default red, type
#ff0000in the color picker.
π Language Select β
Use the menu at the top right to change the language.
| Option | Language |
